About me

Hi I'm Priyanka Pandit

Combining agricultural science, field research, and innovation for a more sustainable future.

I am an Agriculture undergraduate at Kathmandu University with a passion for agricultural research, sustainable farming, and geospatial technologies. My interests include sustainable crop production, soil science, integrated pest management, GIS, remote sensing, and data-driven agriculture.

Through field surveys, laboratory work, research projects, and volunteer activities, I have developed practical experience in field data collection, data analysis, and basic programming. I enjoy working with farmers and applying scientific knowledge and digital technologies to solve real-world agricultural challenges while continuously learning and growing as an agricultural professional.

Supported the successful organization of Nepal's first national student-led agriculture event through event coordination and volunteer activities.
Contributed to youth initiatives promoting sustainable food systems and participated in the FAO SEADS Outreach Programme.
Conducted farmer interviews and collected primary data on pesticide use practices across Dhulikhel Municipality.
Assisted in public soil testing services and communicated soil health findings to farmers.
Supported chapter communications, outreach activities, and programme coordination as a Quality Board member.
